It's not about taking over the Death Riders. It's about Jon's thesis of pushing the roster. The Death Riders are a cult and the people that joined need to find their own way out. Do you fold or do you stand up? Folding is the easy way and Darby's never taken the easy way. Stat didn't either. #AEW 🤼

The villain never thinks they're the villain. Darby's role is because of who he is it makes him stronger than a DG that folded to the Death Riders. He's standing between them and the roster and taking whatever beating he needs to. #AEW 🤼

Nah, Darby is an anti-hero. Jon's mission is very Joker-esque, "it's about sending a message", not about him personally. He's been about taking the BCC tenants and pushing them into a darker heel place. #AEW 🤼
