As I've come to the end of my rewatching of all the Cushing Hammer Frankenstein films, I suppose my parting shot is to post this make believe poster I created from my photo of miniature toys for a Cushing-Fisher Frankenstein film that Hammer never made. #FilmSky #horrorsky #Frankenstein #HammerFilms
This is a fictional movie poster for a non-existent movie titled The Madness Of Frankenstein that Hammer Films never produced, Terence Fisher never directed, and Peter Cushing never starred in. "The Screen's Most Diabolical Villain Has Retrurned!" raves the fake poster's tagline. With the use of figures and accessories from Neca Toys, the photo shows Peter Cushing as Baron Frankenstein leaning over a shrouded figure on a laboratory table while holding a scalpel. The hulking figure is raising up its hand and its head is visible in silhouette beneath the sheet. The poster also claims that the film stars Peter Cushing, Barbara Shelley, Andre Morell, and Patrick Troughton, as well as being written by John Elder, produced by Anthony Hinds, and directed by Terence Fisher. It's clearly one of the best Frankenstein films never made.

I witnessed this statue in person many years ago & never forgot it. Il Duomo in Milan is an ominous yet peaceful place. When I later saw The Fellowship Of The Ring, the Mines Of Moria brought back memories. The St Bartholomew statue looked like something dreamt up by Clive Barker 100s of years ago.

When I think about how Spielberg & Williams took a guy standing in a hole in the ground, holding a stick, waiting for sunlight to move, and transformed it into one of the most exciting moments in cinema, Raiders always shoots to the top of my list.
