Usually the sulphur-crested cockatoos are the noisiest birds around but during the warmer months the eastern koels arrive and turn it up to 11!

Kangaroo paws (Anigozanthos hybrid) and Grevillea plurijuga currently flying the flag for WA flora in the Corunna, NSW garden. Grafted G. plurijugas are now more widely available in SE NSW nurseries (as G 'Purple Haze') and do pretty well in local conditions. #inthegarden #ozplants #grevilleas
