First non test print did not go well, but then made some adjustments (probably overboard lol), and the second one came out great! Now I have to clean this up and get it ready to mold.

I upgraded my iPad so performance is better for sculpting, but I decided to try a glass matte screen protector instead of my old one and that was a mistake 🫠

I don’t draw super fast and because there is a gap between the pen and screen, it does dumb wiggly lines sometimes.

I forgot I took a video of myself with The Observer mask after I created it. This was my first time making a mold and casting the mask in resin and I had so much fun I dont think I will stop any time soon 🎭

If anyone’s curious how I remove seam lines that appear sometimes in my sculpted prints:
1. Smear bondo (or wood filler) in the crack
2. Sand
3. Spray filler primer
4. Sand again
5. Poof, gone

P.s. super important to always wear safety gear, more description in alt text.
Vantastrid pointed out a seam on their mask that showed up printing their 3D sculpt. Since this is going to be post processed anyways, it won’t be hard to get rid of. Vantastrid smearing small amounts of bondo into the crack of the seam. *wear safety gear, vapor is no joke* Let the bondo dry. Sand the bondo once it is dry. The seam is almost gone now. You can either repeat the bondo step or use filler spray in the next step if the imperfection is not resolved. Spray filler primer onto the print, let dry and then sand. Poof the seam indentation is gone.
