Warm sunlight comes from the end of a tunnel. You have to duck to keep your head from hitting the ceiling, and the textures of the walls vary between rough concrete and smooth spray paint. Water splashes around your feet, coming halfway up your shins. A warm breeze blows in fresh air, smelling of wet earth and spring growing plants. Nothing is behind you, but it feels as though you've been chased

It is cold, around 56°. And damp, you can hear water dripping in various places around you. You're a thousand ft underground, surrounded by Earthen teeth, stalactites and stalagmites fang-like around the cavern. You mustn't touch them, but they are smooth, cold, and damp each several feet long. You can't help but think that old gods live here

It smells of mildew. It smells wet and unkempt. The floor is relatively clear, for such a space. There's only three or four boards scattered across the wooden floor. It clearly hasn't been tended to for a while, and dirt and grit grind underneath your feet. The walls and ceiling are cracked, and a broad window has one panel slightly raised, allowing a cold breeze to pass through, a momentary reprieve from the smell of mold. It would be eerie, with how silent it is, if you didn't recognize it. You've never been here, of course, that's silly. And yet, it's familiar. As if you have been here. Maybe in a dream? That is... Also silly. And yet, you know that if you were to turn around, if you could somehow angle the photo differently, it would show a crumbling door frame, and a once-grand carved wooden bannister. What an odd thing to think. And an odder thing to know.

The old tool plant

Warming light pours in from three three windows to the right. They are elevated, and reinforced, and, covered in graffiti. This matches the wall, which has crude lines scrawled upon it, perhaps daring artist's first attempt at the medium. Pvc pipes rise from the floor and hug the ceiling, held up by chains from corrugated surface. Below, the concrete floor is laden with chemical bottles and cables, easy to trip on. You can sense it here, too. There's something observing, waiting. Is it that there's something unseen in the photo, or is it unseen in the room with you? Which is an absurd question, Of course. Looking at a spooky photo can't affect things where you are.

Sunlight filters in through holes in an abandoned factory. The floor is littered with debris, the walls adorned by graffiti, and nearby, a poorly made office lays in disrepair, missing an entire wall, the ceiling sagging. There is a presence here, unseen.

A collection of bottles and items are lit in warm light. Nearest, is around, though bumpy, oak gall. A brown bottle to the right of it appears to have long barns. A smaller bottle nearby is full of sunbround pine needles, next to a bundle of rusted nails, a deer hoof, the toe bones lashed together to keep it in the shape. It was in life, while above. It, is a raccoon vertebra, and antler tip, and acorn, and entire bottle full of tiny phalanges, next to a bottle of dirt, candles, a small glass dome protecting the tiny skull of a shrew, The crunchy inside of a paper wasp nest, and an eight-pointed star made out of dogwood branches. It is a magical space, and you have earned yourself a Blessing, simply by your proximity to its image.

Just a deer rib I made some art with. Stained it with black walnut, and then carved pretty designs into it!

The rib of a deer lies upon a soft blanket. The dark stain achieved by soaking it in water and black walnut holes accentuates its smoothness, save for the white lines carved into it, depicting a cottonwood leaf, a maple leaf, a linden leaf, and a white oak leaf. It also depicts a long antlered deer and a crescent moon. You may be unaware of it, but you've gained a bit of magic by being near its image, and it will come through for you sometime today in a gentle And mundane way

In spite of boarded and bricked up Windows, light spills into a hallway. The walls are mostly brick, with peeling paint and plaster, the remnants littering the floor and causing every footstep to crunch. It smells vaguely of mildew, but the cold weather prevents it from becoming overbearing. Though the wind can be heard outside, the air is eerily still, shielded from the winter gale. Something watches you, though you can't see it.

Some nights you in a you spend looking for abandoned things. Some nights you end up crawling through the woods. Some nights you're sitting at home because someone gave you a tiny bottle and you decided it should be filled with vertebral epiphysis.
