Watching Starfleet Academy made me want to rewatch this classic. Miss Firecracker (dir. Schlamme, 1989) time for a remaster! I think it's only on DVD and the streaming on Amazon is not a great version.

Mom stuff, end of world stuff, huge tidal waves, crazy creatures that looked knit with different width of yarn, gathering corgi fur and somehow it became a dachshund.
