My wife shot this either on #Highway 1 or on a nearby backroad in #SanMateo County. Our convertible, with all-around visibility, makes for a decent shooting platform while on the move.

The gas station is still a work in progress. There's not even a gas pump at the moment. Deliberately questionable signage. I hope to add a lot more detail, lighting, and figurines. That will make a proper little movie set.

Besides the same 1/64 Scout model by Greenlight that I aged and dirtied up, there's also Earl and Val's Jeep Gladiator pickup from the movie Tremors (1990) on display. That's a 1960s Matchbox Jeep that I modified.

Roadside #miniature photography. An #InternationalScout on Swanton Road in San Mateo County in the first shot. The second shot is a proof of concept with a rural gas station in the early building stage. I will add more details, greeblies, and a lot of junk for eye-bleeding roadside views.
