Yeeeeah!! I remember those pouches. I think by the time I worked there they had a few of those still lingering around. They went from that to a rectangle to this fun paw design. I don't like the newer store design, but the sound boxes are a cute upgrade.

Am I allowed to cry? I'd like to cry. I've rethreaded the machine multiple times, cleaned out the bobbin area, changed the tension knob, and changed the needle out.

Oh no!! The recording on this one stayed. Thank God. The voice recording on it is of my mother-in-law that has since passed away, so I'm so friggin glad that didn't happen to this one.

When I worked there we were told that the sound boxes could be mailed off for repair. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore? I'm guessing when they started using these newer models they got rid of that because it's so easy to do yourself.
