@urbanviewradio.bsky.social Oh boy, here we go another "I stumbled upon your station, and I wanted to get a perspective of the other side" caller, guy who can't openly admit to a black station that he "voted for his whiiiteness, called the economic policies" 🤦🏾‍♂️

Q: Just last week a minister was shot directly in the face with a pepper round by a DHS agent that left his face bloodied. Are you concerned that this is a religious freedom issue?

MIKE JOHNSON: I can't comment on any of those instances. I haven't seen or heard any of those videos
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social @karenhunter.bsky.social I said it was 3I before this man called! (I'm acting like a 10 yr old 🤣) And I was going to make a joke of Karen saying 31 like Linda McMahon say A1, instead of A-I...man I'm low-key salty RN...but he is saying all good facts about this 3I Atlas
Hey Karen, it's not 31 Atlas, it 3-I Atlas, NASA's use of acronyms can be hella sus, but 3 I is the joints name
I love that they still let that commercial run, as a matter of fact, it was even better during the World Series! 🤣🤣
I feel that you all are making sports gambling seem like it's on some type of devious scandalous moves, and it's not, if you've never gambled, then you can't have this type of opinion and reaction to it, because it's not that bad🤦🏾‍♂️
If you don't do it, that's fine, but don't become a Jehovah's witness, or a Church of Jesus Christ Latter day saints evangelist about betting. Come on y'all, you gotta learn more about how you may feel about your own money being on the line...and it's not like that Rod, being in bed is just no trust
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social @karenhunter.bsky.social @rodimusprime.bsky.social Karen, it's okay if gambling is something the future generations can enjoy too...the purity of the game still exists, the zealots are ignorant and unfortunately it bleeds over into normal peoples perception 🤦🏾‍♂️
Privileged information use in betting is like insider trading and is not the fault of civilian bettors. Public concern is valid. Gambling isn't inherently immoral, nor is it accurately defined by its association with organized crime
What up Karen and Rod! I live in Vegas, and have been betting on sports for a while, I need people to understand that the fans betting on the games is not the problem, the problem is when people find ways to exploit and try and skirt the rules...and the players finding ways to point shave it the pro
Then got the government involved, and the cards came falling down. Gambling and betting is not evil, me gambling money trying to get more isn't a problem, unless I am putting more important things in jeopardy...but these people are corrupt and they don't care about who they bury...
But the cheating players out of money is the problem, someone who was in this group probably lost his or ass one day, and they decided to bring hell upon the leaders who took their money, or a player took a loan from the house, lost it all gambling, needed to pay back that loan, probably threatened
But greed has its way of squirming its way thru... everyone wants to win, make more money, and of course the house is no different, but the house has the advantage...but the issue of this unground gambling happens everywhere across the globe, friends have poker nights, bets between friends...
For example last night I bet on a few players and the amount of points they would score, or not. It's supposed to be a fair bet...but the issue comes up is when people lose out on money, a 💩 ton...As a sports bettor, we all know that the house, inherently has the "advantage" over the public...
Hey Karen! I'm a Vegas local, I've been living here since I joined the military back in '98.. gambling on games is not the problem, the problem is that game play & results are supposed to be "organic", where the variables are to appear to be normal play of the game. Gambling is supposed to seem fair

I think she should tell people her job is a 'day-sleeper' and she's off work today
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social what up Karen and Rod, as we age & experience random injuries for no reason, it causes us to stop annunciating the 'D' in the word 'old'. It goes from sayin, 'damn them MF's old as 💩', to 'damn I know I ain't dis ol'😢!' @karenhunter.bsky.social @rodimusprime.bsky.social
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social That patriot mobile commercial makes me feel some type of way🤔how does a "christian conservative wireless company" provide it's services? If the signals don't work, will they send out a special SOS for the Lord's help? Christianconservative sounds like a dog whistle to me
Hey Karen, Drew and Big Homie Smizz! I remember when In Living Color did a skit on the crooked preachers in the church...and Damon Wayans did a speaking in tounges, it's one of the funnier skits they made...when he said he was speaking with God, and then came back, as if it was a mental transition😂
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social @rodimusprime.bsky.social @iamsmiz.bsky.social So I did a quick Google search, and it says that Yodeling came from a fusion of European traditions with German and Swiss immigrants, with local African American "field hollers" what?! Field Hollers, so it's white trollin?🤦🏾‍♂️
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social No, the 'decorative forks are from the Victorian French and German era, it's a European thing
@urbanviewradio.bsky.social @rodimusprime.bsky.social @iamsmiz.bsky.social Hey what up Karen, Rod and Smiz! I was going to say the log rolling competition, and yodeling.
But I think the early people's probably stole it from the Native Americans, as they used it to send out long distance msgs 😂🤣
