We call them mince pies, yet they’re filled with fruit, not meat. Sweetbread isn’t bread at all, it’s the pancreas.
Even major brands like Lidl, Aldi, and Burger King opposed the ban, saying it creates more confusion than clarity for customers. This move doesn’t protect consumers! It limits choice and understanding. 💚
The EU has voted to ban “meat” names like vegan sausage or tofu bacon, claiming it avoids confusion.

But these words describe shape, style, and tradition, not meat itself. With the veggie Glamorgan sausage being cited back to the 1850s! 🍴
