Fall is such a dichotomy for me. Early fall is the BEST time of year, for all the reasons you listed. Nice weather, good sleeping no buts.
But late fall is the WORST time of year. Wet cold that goes down to the bone, leafless trees, you still feel silly wearing full winter gear, etc.
