It's been an immense pleasure writing this piece during my close immersion into the worlds of Marx and Bataille. I am grateful to Interregnum's editorial team and Ola Michalec for comments on earlier drafts of this text.

If you are interested in hype as an economic force, this might be for you.

Oooh, another great text from the instances my eyes immediately picked! Deserves printing so it will make my joyful train read tomorrow. Superb article too by Hager - thank you!

How would you formalise the waste and capitalisation on waste resources? E.g. in my case study the tons of data internet users left on the web during Web 2.0 hype, now exploited for GenAI hype purposes (Marx talks about this in the capital btw but doesn't formalise in his M-C-M structures).

Very pleased to have contributed to this special issue of the British Educational Research Association blog: 'Reimagining a Just Early Childhood Education and Care Sector'. Julia Manning Morton and I wrote on the Islington Nursery Strike and activism across time.

Hi, I think there are no groups at all on BS. There was some early excitement about "starter packs" but that was mostly to follow other people (and haven't found any CoSG pack). Are you on the Mastodon Dobbs.Town? Surprised by how active people are there but I'm not a frequent visitor due to time.

Thought provoking panel on Socio-ethical Dilemmas in Healthcare and Hype. Excellent presentations by Thomas Tsakalakis, Gili Yaron and Violet Petit-Steeghs, Sofie Kronberger, Albina Abzalova, and Roanne van Voorst, Ph.D. who also, masterfully, chaired the session.
