this is the part i dont think ppl understand. what we call "getting sick" is your immune system turning your whole body into a battleground. fevers, coughs, runny noses, fatigue, etc. are all things YOUR BODY DOES TO ITSELF to try and kill or expel an intruder when the first line of defense failed
your immune system is beating up stray germs every single day and u dont notice unless there are too many for it to beat up, because THAT'S the only time it escalates to an illness. getting sick means your immune system was pushed too far and now has to resort to drastic measures that tax your body
