Here's my newest ethnicity breakdown from 23andme. My 7 great-grandparents were born in Russia and one great-grandmother was born in eastern Poland. Never thought I would be listed more as Ukrainian and Polish than Russian. May this boost interest in DNA testing so I can get better matches soon.

Finally found the family of a Russian man living in the state of Washington. Thankfully, he knew the town where his grandfather's brother moved from Soviet Russia. The family hasn't seen each other since the 1990s. Lots of online research. It took a postal letter to reach the family in 2025.

Just made it to 1,300 days on Duolingo. I am working on Czech now, which is a combination of Russian, Polish and Ukrainian. This will be my fourth and last Slavic language on Duolingo. I wish there were more Slavic languages on Duolingo.
