My name is Verezi ::)

I like to post about gaming with a focus on RPGs. I particularly enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles, Dragon Quest, Shin Megami Tensei/Persona, and Yakuza/Like a Dragon. Looking to make friends on here to post about this stuff with :3

what if it grabs you
There's this one specific genre of Final Fantasy fan that only likes FF6-10 and is bitter the series changed after that and just hasn't gotten over it in the last 25 years
And that makes platinum trophy #70

Just can't get enuf
I played Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and people were right. This game is so good. The biggest compliment I can give is that it's such a joy to just exist in this world. Skating in these levels becomes so seamless that I find myself aimlessly grinding around with no goal in mind and loving it.
40GB is a lot for a Nintendo game so it is notable

But no I don't think it deserves its own article
you gave it to us so thanks

So how are you supposed to find cool indie games to play? Official digital stores aren't good for it because there's so much shovelware.
Often my timeline here is so horny that it's indistinguishable from my horny alt's
I am often reminded of the fact that you are simply allowed to say anything and nobody can really stop you

I recently discovered that I really enjoy time loop puzzle mystery stuff and I think there should be more games in this very specific genre
In short. No more remakes. If you're good you get to have a remaster with slightly more content but that's it.
And that's the *good* end of the spectrum. A game I would almost never recommend remains one of the best remakes I've seen.

I don't hate remakes in theory but I'm starting to question that. It's just becoming harder and harder to believe that they can ever be truly great or replace their original.
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D is on the good end of the remake spectrum. I've played it 3 times since release and had a lot of fun every time.

I would not recommend it. It messes up the entire adventure and exploration aspect of the game and it lacks the bite of the original due to being too easy.
Yakuza 3 is my least favorite game in the series and something I actively wanted remade before but Sega has already made Kiwami 3 look so bad that I have no desire to ever play it.

These games are so unappealing that they can't even convince me to play them despite being the target audience.
Persona 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. I love it to death. But there are also a lot of things you could improve about it if you had a second chance at making it.

Despite this Persona 3 Reload is so unappealing that I've still not played it and don't really want to.
Game companies wanting to replace original games with remakes is already a bad thing. Art is not supposed to be disposable or replaceable like that. But also what doesn't help is that every remake sucks ass.
From an outsider perspective Fire Emblem Fates looks amazing so it must be impressively terrible for it to be so hated. Like I'm really curious how they managed to make people hate the game with Camilla.
The PS1 version didn't have it either
