Please keep it up there! ❤️

Ah, maybe that's why I only made it 5 minutes into episode 2. Sounds like it improved in subsequent seasons???

I recently started an all-natural fiber supplement containing psyllium husk, aloe vera, chia seed & flaxseed powder. Let's see how this goes. It's similar to the Pure for Men brand but significantly cheaper.

Just tested my laptop at work with an external monitor and thankful only the laptop's screen is damaged. I should be able to run diagnostics. This weekend I'll open up the laptop to see if the data cable for the screen is loose or damaged. After that I'll know how to proceed regarding repairs.

I've enjoyed many of the songs from Daughtry since lead singer & namesake Chris Daughtry appeared on American Idol. Not every song is a hit, but the band's two latest offerings shock to the system parts 1 and 2 are quite good. Dance & Electronic being my usual jam my music tastes are still diverse.

I made the decision to go back on a low dose (100mg) of gabapentin after 2 days of bothersome nerve pain in my right side hip/leg. It seems to have helped; however the trade-off is increased grogginess, even at this dose.

Regarding my home network woes of late, I'm now starting to wonder if Spectrum was doing some overnight repairs or upgrades as that's typically when they will do such work. I only wish there was an easy way to know - like, oh I don't know - a website maybe? 😵‍💫🤣

Yee-Haw! The work week is almost over!

While trying to put in a repair/warranty ticket for my Dell laptop, I was given a set of diagnostic instructions which require an external monitor, but that monitor must connect via USB-C as it's the only option on the laptop. I guess I'll bring it to work and connect it to the hub at my desk.

I think I watched one episode. Maybe it's worth another look given all the crap on TV these days. What do you love about it and why do you hate that about yourself?

I don't remember what made me lose interest.

I just checked Netflix. I watched S1E1 and a sliver of E2.

I see 12:34 in many places, but this was the first for the "fully-charged" message. 😊

No, my smartphone slipped out of my hand and across the keyboard. Immediately after the phone "tapped" the screen the lines appeared. It might be covered under warranty until 2/8/26 so I have to act fast otherwise I'll have to pay for any repairs. I'm hoping to maybe do a DIY repair.

Although the EMI suspicion fails when the internet doesn't drop out during the day despite the HVAC fan running periodically to heat/cool the house. Last night Wi-Fi cameras were the latest devices to repeatedly connect and disconnect. I can convert those to wired with PoE adapters.

I swear I'm going to be an IT/networking expert by the end of this. Now I have to see if there is an EMI interference as several devices with "motors" such as water pumps, HVAC and even washer/dryer are downstairs with network hardware. Also need to see if the connected UPS has AVR. Geez-Louise!

Not any better. In fact it seems worse. I'll still replace Apple TV even though it was not part of these events. After that the network switch may need to be tested and/or replaced. Thankfully, I bought a spare switch and router last year. There goes my weekend! 😵‍💫

Wow! This is insane. My phone slipped out of my hand and bumped up against the display of my Dell XPS laptop and now the screen is toast. I'll take it to the repair shop as doubtful this is a warranty item.

I'm still trying to figure out 192.168.0.101 in relation to one of my Apple TV boxes. If this were an actual local private network, I should be able to access its gateway at 192.168.0.1, but I cannot. This makes me think there is some IP spoofing going on, which is troubling at best.

It's like a banana fortune good, and good for you to boot. 🤣

I don't get those from my bank, but personal loan, student loan refi and credit card offers by the bucket full. They do seem desperate.
January 13, 2026 at 3:40 PM
For now I followed online tech suggestions and created a specific firewall rule to reject attempts by that specific Apple TV from trying to access 192.168.0.101. The thinking here is that the rule will take the VLAN to VLAN blocking stress off of the whole network.

Only time will tell.
January 13, 2026 at 11:50 AM
Not my cable modem (UCI from UniFi) as it uses a different third octet. Also Android security is blocking 192.168.0.101 from being accessed. I guess it's time to replace the Apple TV as that's the only step I haven't tried.

Don't be fooled by the president's proposed 10% credit card interest cap; it'll be disastrous for anyone without excellent credit.

This is another way to enrich his cronies who want struggling consumers to take out expensive personal loans.
January 13, 2026 at 11:19 AM
Here we go again. This time the living room Apple TV flooded my system with 26 attempts to access 192.168.0.101 and was blocked a VLAN to VLAN firewall rule. There was at least one WAN1 drop with cellular failover right after. 😵‍💫

I don't use 192.168.x.x for my network, but this might be my modem.
