I wouldn't be surprised if people who liked the advertising push CUB's "Brisbane Bitter" had in the early eighties... absolutely hated the early 1990's revival being given the same look as VB/Melbourne Bitter.

Wouldn't be surprised if 10 (still Frank Lowy-owned at this point) was piloting this as either a summer 88/89 replacement for Perfect Match/Neighbours, or to fill in gaps left by the '88 writers strike seeing 88/89 seasons of some US content be delayed.
