The truth coming out. That no miracle really happened, that it wasn't a destined or possible recovery from an illness, that it wasn't from his goddess at all.

Kydag’s 1st kiss was w/ a boy he knew since he was 16–or rather, he met him over a summer break, and the rest was built in his imagination, until they met again 4 years later. One night under the stars, they kissed. Kydag was enraptured, of course, but he was also afraid.

It was for the best.

In Page 1, we see a surprised Enoch as an unfamiliar voice says, "...Hello? I don't mean to disturb...whatever you're doing in this black abyss." As Enoch turns, the voice continues, "Though the Deity of Death seemed keen on me seeing you. And there's little a dead soul can say against a god." Enoch begins to ask "Who?–" but grows quiet as his eye widens at the sight before him.

Lucindus looms over Enoch. His face is artistically blackened, but it is clear otherwise that he looks deathly ill. A form from his dying days. There is silence "..." then Lucindus says, "Ah, I understand now."
