The first time I DM'ed, my brother managed to talk me into letting him play a Mind Flayer. I told him only if he was nerfed and had a backstory to explain a Mind Flayer good guy that is somehow not in a hive mind colony. His name was Gerbell. And he was still TERRIFYING. #dnd #character #mindflayer
