Substack is a really cool place and I met some of my best friends on it.
Easy to start and there's a solid reader base.

It's like all social networks. You have to try to connect with others. In the beginning, using notes is the easiest thing to do. Introducing yourself on notes and just writing a few notes about what you're doing and writing is a good way to get started.

Morning everyone.
You survived all the other days so far.
Today is no different.
You can do it.

Total, I never really wanted to draw attention to myself. I prefer to make a complete distinction between my real life and my literary life.

You should be able to hide your adress in the stripe part. There's way to have active subs without showing private info.

Substack works for some. And very hard for others. Of all the platforms, it seems to me to be one of the easiest to climb. With X, if you're really good at networking. In any case, growing on social networks in 2025 is a jungle because the competition is fierce. Everyone is on social networks.

Tyler, I read your first post.
I just wanted to let you know that comments are disabled.
I don't know if that's intentional or not.
Just wanted to let you know.

I have two newsletters on my substack account.
They are both different, so you can definitely start a new one on the same account.

I used to have several websites before.
I think there's pro and cons for both.
But the great part of substack is that they have readers ready to read you work.
It feels less like "starting from zero".
But I still believe that personnal blog are also powerful tool for anyone who wants to write.

I don't regret having done it a few years ago. It was one of my best decisions.

Yes, it's been a couple years.
I needed a place to share my writing.
Substack is perfect.

Hey sorry for being so late. I was super sick. Your dad is a superhero, and i hope i'll be able to do a great job. I do not belong to any writing group. But I have a substack and a medium account. I'm thinking of opening a write's community.
