Brunkow, Ramsdell & Sakaguchi win for revealing how our immune system avoids attacking itself. Their work on regulatory T cells and the Foxp3 gene revealed the key to immune tolerance (for new therapies in cancer, autoimmune diseases, and transplant medicine). #NobelPrize

We're excited to welcome Tanibet Alba O’Reilly!🎉She will join us as a PhD student through the prestigious MSCA Doctoral Network NATPRIME. Her research focuses on designing polypeptide-based nanosystems with natural mitochondria-targeting properties for oligonucleotide delivery🧬
Direct from Italy 🇮🇹, Valentina Zazza will be pursuing a PhD in our lab for the next few years. Her PhD will focus on the development of novel polymeric carriers for use as non-viral gene delivery vectors for the treatment of glioblastoma 🧠. Good luck!
