Is it just me or is #Highguard a little too complicated? I was already skeptical when they introduced mining, then a trader, siege towers, shield generators, anchor stones, wtf? You need a PhD to play this game. I've seen players in matchmaking have trouble with CTF!

Is it just me or is #Highguard a little too complicated? I was already skeptical when they introduced mining, then a trader, siege towers, shield generators, anchor stones, wtf? You need a PhD to play this game. I've seen players in matchmaking have trouble with CTF!

One of the survivors said they couldn’t get a life jacket because those were faulty. Luckily, he was rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard. But I hope a thorough investigation is forthcoming about the safety equipment and procedures on the ferry.

Really disappointed by the pen experience in @craft.do. Sketching is fine but confined to a Sketch block. Even worse is the terrible Scribble support. The keyboard keeps popping up, and I keep having to reselect the block to continue writing.

But I think the belief in might makes right, in brute force, in political “will” over democratic consensus, in the strong dominating over the weak, is actually what keeps us down. When I think back to my worst days, it’s not strength that mattered most, but the kindness and decency of others.

Our belief as a nation that might makes right is reflected in our popular media, broken politics, & the worst parts of our history. Maybe because government has failed us so much, those close to us perpetuate the idea, or in a broken world brute force is the only thing that still seems to work.

I’m both sad and angry reading about Filipinos supporting Trump, especially after the recent horrific shooting in Minnesota. These same people probably supported Duterte and his killing spree here in PH, now they want Trump to do the same in America.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I’m cautiously optimistic about Marathon. As much as we deride Bungie, they’re at their best when backed into a corner. But I might also be in the minority of people who think that just because a game isn’t the absolute best doesn’t mean it’s absolute garbage.
