Page 32 of my comic, Hex & Seal. As hex goes down the ladder into the basement in the light of his phone flashlight, he realizes he can no-longer sense the spirits. Could this be his grandfather's ench-- What? As Hex turns to look into the basement room, he sees three walls full of elaborate carvings. A forest view with a lone, large pine tree in the middle. The pine tree grows out of the head of a large moth carved onto the floor as maze of swirling, carved text reaches out of its antennae, forming the rest of the forest around the pine and the moth. Hex walks along the walls and thinks to himself. I can't sense magic but I shouldn't touch it without knowing for sure.

She mutters to herself, “It’s great being back here…but wow, what a mess!” Panel 4: At that moment, some boxes catch Corliss’s eye, as she utters “What the-?” Panel 5: Corliss picks up one box, which seems to be of great importance. She peeks into it, exclaiming, “Our work documents!” The background is orange. Panel 6: A close up view of the box, with speed lines going towards it. The box is labeled “for work only”, and shown to be empty. The documents that’s supposed to be in it, aren’t there. Corliss cries out, “T-they’re gone!”.
