Does having the accent natively matter in terms of correct representation? What do you think?

I want to be authentic but I don't want to leave anyone out who feels like they deserve the opportunity (someone who can really deliver on that accent).

Question about accents. I'll be looking for someone to play a British role next year, but I was considering making it available for native British speakers only.

But voice acting is about everyone having an opportunity, right?
