Friends, Can’t emphasize this enough: Support your local food pantries. They need us now more than ever. My local one said, “for every meal that a food bank provides, SNAP provides 9”. They also served 100 add’l families this week. Now that the GOP has decimated SNAP, more need assistance.

Chicagoland is a friendly, safe, vibrant, & fun place. I’m very happy my kids have grown up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of the city, & in Evanston. They’re both wonderful places.
