Maybe, but part of me feels like there isn’t even a goal or intention outside of short term profit. And because of that, theres no planning for the future, no safe guarding. Just exploitation and exacerbation of resources until we’re all fucked. Bunker investment is booming these days 😅😭

One thing is for certain - they do not care about mothers in this country. The highest childbirth death rate among first world countries. Maternity leave is obviously laughable. And society has become individualized that there’s often no support from community or family once the child is born

In other news, I found an abandoned dog on the street this week. I was in the middle of spiraling and feeling a bit hopeless about my apartment situation and she appeared. A much needed sign from the universe to get out of my swirling head for a second. Sweet gremlin girl.

Life has become a lot easier after embracing my introversion. It’s difficult to not feed into the pressures of such an extroverted world. But for me, nothing is better than working on music all day, and then just hanging out with my dog. Also I haven’t drank in 5 months 😎

And it’s possible this is just what it’ll always feel like, but I am extra proud of my new work. I’m so antsy to finish this stuff and get it out and play it live, esp cause some of it is years in the making, but for now I’m just gonna be building the suspense I guess lol
