I don't know about anyone else, but I always feel immense disappointment when I see grown-ass adults preaching about fairytales.

Anyone calling love between two men or two women immoral and citing a fantasy novel written by primitive men who wanted to incite fear and to control others are the truly immoral ones. These people use a book of delusions to excuse their own bigotry and hatred.

To add to this, I have xian's spouting the word heresy & blasphemy.
Heresy & blasphemy are not genuine crimes, just accusations from religious groups who want to criminalise anyone thinking/speaking out against their doctrine. No court of law & morality should be taking such accusations seriously.

A xian on TikTok called Lilith a fantasy character and not a part of the creation story. I feel as if they saw the point coming and ducked to avoid it. Now I have a debate going on TikTok about if Lilth is real.

You know, the more I think about it, the less I think God deserves the title of loving father. Think about it. He grew tired of man 'sinning' that he drowned the entire species bar Noah & family.
No loving father would drown his children in a bathtub for misbehaving. God is not a 'loving father'.

What a shame, I really thought the xian I was debating with would eventually listen and at least seek out scientific sources. Instead, they have blocked me, but I truly hope they choose to learn about the world rather than remain ignorant and believe the world was created by a fairy tale dictator.

A lie is sometimes easier to handle, isn't it? But science shows that despite how big and chaotic the world and universe is, there is beauty and fascination to be found in the mayhem. No imaginary dictator needed, just beautiful chaos! Again, I really recommend PBS Eons!

I know it is easier to full back on the lie and the indoctrination that you've probably endured since birth. Admitting the lie you have been brought up with is indeed a.lie is a hard thing to do and accept. But there are people who can help when you are ready.

I'm not a therapist. I can't help you take your deconstruction journey. But there are people out there who can when you are ready to make that journey. Meanwhile, take a look at those sources I recommended. Again, I really recommend PBS Eons. I love how knowledgeable and enthusiastic they are!

I know it is easier to twist it around and pretend the truth is a lie rather than admit you are brainwashed and indoctrinated. But over time, the more you listen to and read scientific sources, the better you will understand that no imaginary dictator is needed.

Exactly. That's the spirit! There are incredible scientific sources out there! Again, I recommend Neil Degrasse Tyson, Brian Cox, Christopher Hitchens and PBS Eons!

I can see you are having difficulties. It is hard to see outside of the restrictive doctrine of faith. But educational sources and support are easily available. Like here on bluesky. There are many ex-xians who could help you deconstruct and offer support in your journey.

It's difficult, isn't it? Admitting ignorance is always hard. No one admits they don't understand. But admitting ignorance is one step forward into overcoming ignorance. Seek out scientific sources, watch, read,listen and learn, and you'll be better for it.

Ignorance is a disease and education is the cure. There are great minds out there that are able to make complex ideas simplified enough to understand. PBS Eons is one of my favourite YouTube channels. Such great exploration into scientific studies and ancient eras of our planet!

There is no shame in ignorance, and I heard that deconstruction is a difficult process. I really recommend reaching out to ex-xians and listening to great minds like Neil Degrasse Tyson, Brian Cox, the team at PBS Eons and the late Christopher Hitchens. Great educational speakers!

Admitting you don't understand is a huge step forward. That you can't comprehend a way life exists without a fairytale dictator is an admittance of ignorance. But don't be ashamed. There are great sources out there. As I said yesterday, PBS Eons is a great source with fantastic presenters.
