We are not born knowing how to be assertive, & it is not your fault if you didn't have the modeling you needed to develop that skillset.

Giving ourselves permission to be assertive can be a b*tch when we're working against a history of fawning & freezing.

Lol yes they are - Sennheiser make awesome headphones but they are expensive. Sony Studio Headphones (MDR - 7506) are really good for the price. (cant really remember, but think I paid £80 - they have however consistently out performed some of the seriously more expensive cans I've had in the past)
