While it's obvious Kasuga and Nomoto aren't actively looking for their specific orientations (beyond broad-term "lesbian") within the actual plot of #Tsukutabe, I'd like to remind folks that Yuzaki-sensei has actually provided us with this extra info a while back (during Aro Week, Feb 2024)~

In relation to AroWeek, I think Kasuga-san is a demiromantic person. That's why she realized her feelings for Nomoto-san after she had developed a close and trusting relationship with her. Demiromantic is a broader definition of aromantic. For more information, please see the article by Aromantic Asexual Club.

On the other hand, I think Nomoto is demisexual. This is a broader definition of asexuality. This is also related to the fact that Nomoto consulted with Yako in episode 22 of the original manga and episode 16 of the drama. For more details, please see the article by A Romance A Sex Club.
