messy fanart, commissions for strangers, studies that havent jumped in quality in almost a year. at what point does all of that converge into something that's important to me? i want it to click into place. i want the world to give me space to make something i can look back on fondly.

to me, furry art feels meaningful in the moment because of the community aspect. because it makes people happy and because it solidifies my relationship with my friends through its visual representation. But when i can't draw that due to outside forces, im left looking at everything else. (...)
