I'm so saddened to learn of Andrena Guines' passing over the weekend. Andrena was a friend and valuable resource to so many in our party and a dedicated Vice Chair of the 4th District DFL. My deepest condolences to Andrena's friends and family during this difficult time.

Right after voting NO on the Senate's terrible deal last week, I joined DFLers in Senate District 41 for their monthly meeting to discuss my vote and to thank them for the work they're doing to help deliver DFL victories up and down the ballot in 2026. Good to be with them!

Earlier this week, I held a forum at a Saint Paul food shelf on the impacts of the Trump administration's tampering with SNAP benefits. With today's court order, the administration needs to obey the law and ensure SNAP recipients don't go hungry.
