Awful UX.

I don't get it, why 20% of a video is covered by who-knows-what.

- Sometimes I can't see important parts of the video.
- I never can find "the full video" when YouTubers ask for it.
- I'm afraid to touch all of these text elements since they are clickable.

Same problem.

There should be a feed that shows me relevant content. Like "For You" on X.

Inspired by another recent post on ATProto I signed up for bsky, but all I see is endless American politics. I relentlessly click "less like this" but it doesn't seem to budge. Is this just what the platform is like? Being constantly barraged by the same predictable takes on today's bizarre overseas controversy is not very conducive to mental peace...

Recently, I needed to order a birthday cake for someone in Japan.

When I saw:

- Number one candle
- Number two candle
- Number three candle

It reminded me of the high life expectancy in Japan :)

Put related elements together.

I can change the alt text for some of the pictures here. But the arrows that take you to the next picture are at the top!

Let alone the save button, it's typical for X to put CTA buttons where the close button should be.

At first glance, it doesn't look like much, but when I looked closer, I saw that it has five gradients, a noise effect, a nice branded icon, and the colors and fonts look good overall.

What you can do instead is to split the screen into two parts.

One part is designated for the login form, while the other part can be used for any content you choose.

Usually it's some kind of graphic with text that encourages users to sign up, or something similar.

There are some other things, like social login and a sign-up link, but that's the basic idea.

Some people have trouble with the login screen.

It's just a simple form, and putting two inputs in the middle of the screen feels boring.

But there is a good way to make it look great.
