SA’s algal bloom is heading toward the giant cuttlefish breeding site in Whyalla. Experts warn the bloom could wipe out an entire generation. Urgent action is needed to protect the eggs, including exploring temporary relocation to an aquaculture facility.

First paper of my PhD is finally out in Molecular Ecology!
A mix of UV photography, transcriptomics and phylogenetic reconstructions to investigate development of UV vision and patterns in damselfishes.
