Well... I managed to get myself banned from X/Twitter...

Made a harmless joke about vibe coding. Got 'tagged' for inauthentic behaviour. Appealed the 'tag'. Got a permanent suspension a couple of hours later.

I'm going to miss the 'platform of free speech'.

I’m excited to share that on August 30th, 2025, my wife and I will be tackling Mount Kilimanjaro in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust. This adventure has been on both of our bucket lists long before we even met, so it’s incredibly special to finally make it happen.

The Only One Left by Riley Sager had me hooked and almost in tears by the end. Lenora’s character was unforgettable, the twists were masterful, and the mystery kept building perfectly. A gripping, emotional, and brilliant read! 4 Stars #book #yearinreview

The Creeper was easily my third favorite book this year. Full of intrigue, tension, and disturbing twists, it kept me guessing and on edge. Super creepy but no nightmares—just a fantastic 4-star read! #book #yearinreview

I thoroughly enjoyed Someone in the Attic! The realistic characters and their dynamics drew me in, while the clever twists and red herrings kept me guessing. The audiobook narration was top-notch too - a fantastic listen! 4 Stars. #book #yearinreview

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is back with a new series, or book 4. Who knows at this point. But I loved every second! New puzzles with no repetition from the previous books and a whole new line of intrigue. Excellent 4 star book, it's good to be back! #book #yearinreview

You're Not Supposed to Die Tonight by Kalynn Bayron was my second favorite book of the year! The creepy camp setting, smart twists, and spot-on audiobook narration made it a 5-star, unforgettable listen. #book #yearinreview

I picked up Gangsta Granny after a stay in the themed room at Alton Towers. With Walliams’ usual humor, farts, silly jokes, and quirkiness it was fun I finished in a few hours. The ending felt surprisingly mature for kids but added depth. A light 3-star read! #book #yearinreview

This book was a twisted, gripping read. The wife's obsessive, calculated behavior kept me hooked, and the plot twist hit hard. The nameless husband dynamic was genius. Weird, unsettling, and unforgettable. 4 stars #book #yearinreview

The Final Gambit wraps up the series, keeping the mystery alive and the puzzles entertaining. While not as fresh as book 1, a satisfying conclusion with strong twists and solid growth. 4 stars, it felt like it was getting a bit old, but... There were more! #book #yearinreview

The Hawthorne Legacy was a fun read but didn’t quite match The Inheritance Games. The puzzles felt less fresh, the romance was scattered, and the plot dragged a bit. Still, Avery's growth keeps it engaging. 4 stars #book #yearinreview

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes was hands-down my favorite book of the year. It’s packed with twists, clever puzzles, and a cast that keeps you guessing. I couldn’t put it down—and the ending? Unreal. An obvious 5 star read! #book #yearinreview

After watching Netflix's "Fool Me Once," I had to read Harlan Coben's novel. The book dives deeper into the plot and characters, offering richer twists and intrigue than the adaptation. A gripping, satisfying read! Only 3 stars though for this one. #book #yearinreview

I eeally enjoyed this one! Elizabeth Zott is a standout character, and Calvin’s story hit hard. It’s emotional, thought-provoking, and worth the read. Don’t overthink the synopsis just read and enjoy. I'm looking forward to watching the series. 4 Stars #book #yearinreview

What a book! "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" hooks you with old Hollywood vibes and a dash of mystery. The twists are genius, and Evelyn's story is unforgettable. Totally worth the read! Gave this 4 stars and was one of the best reads of the year. #book #yearinreview

My wife gives me a lot of book suggestions, surprisingly enough this was one of them. I didn't hate it, but I'm struggling to find the willingness to pick up another in the series. I gave this 3 stars. We shall see what the future holds. #book #yearinreview

I've read a few T. Kingfisher books over the years and this was up there with the best of them. Typically strange, creepy but with a sense of urgency running through it. Well worth a read. 4 Stars. #book #yearinreview

Breakfast at Tiffany's - I decided to read this because I had the song stuck in my head. It turned out to be a really good book which I enjoyed. The racism and sexism was very strong, but it was a different time back then so I made sure it didn't spoil my enjoyment - 4 stars! #book #yearinreview

My Year in books - The first book I read this year was Jurassic Park. Although I read this when it first was published (when I was 12) it was time to reread. I really enjoyed reconnecting and it took me back to the thrills of the movie being released. Good fun book - 3 stars. #book #yearinreview
