I guess it means different things to different people, I get where you're coming from, it's a big "it depends" so won't be everyones thing.

I do gear karaoke every 4 weeks or so at a venue in Soho, scares some of the straight people (with my singing and outfit) but is good fun! 🙂 Let's me be... me

I think it's just a gear social/party night, I've gone to plenty of them in the rubber and leather scene. Can't say anything too unusual here just means no dark-room (which is kinda nice to me, as it feels like less.. pressure), just get your kit on and dance.

Is there anything in the rules in particular you're not clear about? Maybe they can provide clarification if you're more specific.

The site says it's furs, pups and gear in general, so I assume it's a gear focused event as they've stated, i see people in singlets etc in the pix.

Knowing Xil I genuinely feel this was a mistake.

I obviously can't speak for him but his follow up post sounds like him, and from the time I've known him, he's not really the sort of person to shame others. I genuinely just see it as a fumble

Yeah and whilst it's good, i use it myself to keep a gentle eye on things, I feel they should have to have some sort of warning explaining what I said previously. Mine is adamant I am sitting around 10-13% BF. I am definitely not.

One thing I will say for any BF/Scale system:

If the number goes up, BF has gone up
If the number goes down, BF has gone down

*but* the number it displays is never accurate, it's a very educated guess it's making. Things like touching your arms to your side when measuring can distort it a lot.

I will tolerate a lot, but not encouragement of violence. I am horrified to have this screenshot sent to myself.

I have will happily talk through any subject with anyone, but i NEVER expect any encouragement of any violence. Coward behaviour to say in a closed group where I can't see it also.

I used to help run LFM for many years and people would try this shit at least once a year. They do something stupid, ignore rules, cause shit, lie about it and get banned then blame it on everyone else but themselves and spread shit. The fact they tried to doxx people and threaten via PM as well...

Police investigated and found no crime happened, ani hasn't been spoken to by the police, and the case is now closed with no action taken.

I really hate misinformation in the fandom, I know you didn't mean it but it's incredibly harmful accusation to make when it has been disproven by the police.

This didn't happen and has been disproven, the evidence the kids submitted to the police got "leaked" and shows no assault.

Even if you don't like LFM I really don't think it's right to slander someone for something they didn't do 😓

I'm an adult also, I work a full time job, thankfully and oddly, it's often to verify information online. I just don't like to spread unfounded rumours without verifying as I feel it's a terrible thing to do for the reasons previously stated. If I can't at least verify it a bit, I wouldn't share.

Side note that reputation / "it feels like something that would happen" is NEVER an excuse to spread misinformation. It weakens genuine issues and means real victims of crime are unheard.

They're begging for shares on their videos, whilst refusing to release "evidence" which has now thankfully leaked and shows nothing.
