i understand you want to stay away from the emotional context of this subject-- but that is impossible AND even misguided. It is entwined with astonishment, disbelief, and a desire to protect these people-- children and adults. Which shows in the responses you've received.

Calling what is essentially a TODDLER "Sir," and expecting behavior that is parallel to that of an ADULT'S display of emotional control (which adults are NOT ABLE to control themselves in this context)-- is also abuse-- trauma--violence.
