hi, ill be cross posting all of my drawings for this lovely pair, starting with my DU/SU inspired occurrence
Divergent Universe:
You wonder through a forest of ash and stray mechanical
parts until you reach a sandy shore. Within the clearing,
you spot two familiar faces stand around a sand pile, looking at
an object on the ground.

Screwllum waves a signal for his 6 legged, insect-shaped
drones to inspect the object hidden in the ground. They flap
their mechanical wings at an impressive speed as they approach the
small digging site and pick up the fossil of a tiny creature
by the spine. A green fluid streams from the their legs
as they efficiently weave a fast drying solution around the fossil,
encasing it in a perfect sphere. Once finished, the drones pass
the crystalized fossil in Ratio's open palm.

"Impressive as always, Mr. Screwllum." Screwllum's facial features
betray no emotion, but you sense a sentiment of happiness emanating
from his circuits. Given how you got to this Occurence, and its
unique circumstances, this reads like a private memory. Screwllum:
"Thank you for agreeing to accompany me to this desolate land, Mr. Ratio.
Analysis: Given the planet's past, and unfortunate present,
The estimated time I gave for these tetrapods to reach land was off
by 10%. Such astounding progress."

Dr. Ratio:
"You're welcome, I am sure Ruan Mei will be elated by the news.
Despite this subject's untimely demise, we can conclude this
collaboration on a positive note."
Ratio shifts the amber-like casing in his palm until it slowly
started levitating upwards.

Divergent Universe:
"Indeed. Conclusion: I am sure this fossil will make for a wonderful
Curio." The dilapitated state of the planet is a sore reminder of
the sheer colateral damage caused by the Emperor Wars. The
Planet's 'low casualty' classification doesn't speak of its lasting
aftermath. Its organic ecosystem was left to struggle, and all that
remained is a quiet graveyard for inorganics to bury their outdated
models. Divergent Universe:
Screwllum looks at an intellitron's corroded parts slowly unearth
themselves with each wave caressing its broken pieces. You watch him
kneel down at the edge of the dig site as he runs his hand against
the sand. Besides him, Ratio asks unamused "What are you doing?".

Screwllum:
"Request: please indulge me in this experiment, Veritas."

Divergent Universe:
Time skips forward as Dr. Ratio molds the mound of sand encasing
Screwllum's body in his model's shape. He delicately traces
where Screwllum's chest is and draws
its diamond shaped hole and gear in the sand. Throughout the whole
thing, Ratio's expression is unreadable.
After minutes of silence, Ratio is the first to speak:
"You already know how ridiculous this is." Screwllum:
"Correction: While my decision is short-sighted, I wouldn't
call it ridiculous." Screwllum's eyes flicker as he speaks.
My life may extended infinitely; But something moved me
witnessing this Intellitron could not even afford a coffin for
their own preservation. While unnecessary, I want to
simulate the feeling of such humility."
Ratio silently listens and draws the many intricate parts
that form the mechanical aristocrat's appearance.

Dr. Ratio:
"And how does it feel?"
He pauses mapping out Screwllum's body in the sand to
watch his eyes flicker softly.

Screwllum:
"Like the ground is pulling me in its embrace."
