Thanks to living too far off the grid and the technical incompetence of the Peacock-Plus website designers, I was in a blackout zone.
But I was quite impressed to see that even though I wanted him to go hard-ass political, he sent a better stronger message in the end!

While are the planning exercises are valuable, you should not delude yourself that doing the exercise does much more than reduce the uncertainty a tad or two.
And tends to do nothing about those large gaping areas that need some discovery and new invention!

Once again, a strawman argument: some companies may, in fact, cheat with so-called offsets, but the rapidly emerging and preferable solution is to simply build large batteries. No different than building a dam to have a large reservoir…

As always, defenders of nuclear power address the wrong issues: it’s been known for years that the real issue was not the pellets. It’s the fact that the entire freaking metal collossus becomes highly irradiated during its lifetime.

Protective bike lanes should be the default standard, but if you think that a meet 1 m passing distance even feels safe, let alone accomplishs anything useful, you’re kidding yourself. I’d lobby for like 25 feet, or at least one lane-width…
