Year 10 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Somme Centre, gaining a deeper understanding of WW1 and what life was like for soldiers in the trenches. Many thanks to our guides for bringing History to life through the stories of WW1.

Year 14 pupil Joshua recently attended an award ceremony to receive his Young Kelvin prize.

Joshua, an Arkwright Scholar, received a trophy for his video presentation on Lord Kelvin and a £500 prize. Well done!
