And that's a wrap 2025 greenhouse season! Today was the last day the greenhouse was open for the season. Thanks all who stopped by and bought your plants. See you in 2026!! Or in a few weeks when the summer produce is ready to sell!

Since it was raining yesterday I went and picked up a few more ferns for the shade/woodland garden. Have been working on this section for a few years and it's almost done.

I grew this variety of verbascum last year in the greenhouse and it only got one or two blooms but this year every plant has four or five spikes on it. Added to the seed list for next year!

Yup! That's what I think it is. Thanks for confirming.
Is this a wild variety of penstemon? It grows wild in one of the meadows and not 100% sure what it is.

Waited two years for this to bloom! Any guesses as to what it is. Post your responses in the replies and I'll let you know tomorrow the correct answer.

The sky is still dark, but the rain didn't do too much damage thankfully.

The pollinator garden is about to explode into bloom took this earlier today on a break from planting!
Thanks! I tried to collect the unique colors and I can find them.
Excited to see what the camassia will look like when fully open! This is the first year I've ever grown them but wanted to give them a try, so planted some bulbs last fall. Planted both blue and white and haven't been disappointed so far!
Thanks! I've had that happen before too. Each year I also grow a number of them in the greenhouse too so in case they don't self seed I have a fresh supply.
Foxglove have to be one of my all time favorites! These are all self-seeded volunteers!

Busy weekend trying to give up caught up since it isn't raining for a change! Even though it's been cool the Livingston daisies are living their best life in the greenhouse. Enjoy your gardening this weekend!

Plants never cease to amaze me! These tuber begonias have been in the basement all winter where I overwinter them and this evening I noticed 12 of the 14 have started to wake up.
