If you ignore science, you've probably never heard of Milgram's Experiment.

That tracks.

Well, that didn't take long.
Bored of peace? I wouldn't be surprised when it happens.

Quite relieved that I finally got my copies of New Scientist. These days, Scientific American is sounding more and more like an oxymoron.

I don't like MALA, but it amused me when I realized that L could stand for "Lousy".

It certainly looks that way.

Recently, I saw someone crossing a road while balancing a fairly large (maybe 60 cm in diameter) turtle stuffed toy on their head.

I guess that's one answer to the question, "What is the turtle standing on?"

Given the trending decrease in scientific knowledge, I wonder if in the future, A government would be able to control population numbers through a social media campaign urging people not to drink water as it is made up of hydrogen, a flammable gas, and oxygen, a gas that intensifies burning.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas because Twiglets are on sale at Cold Storage. 😋

Controversial thought, but there's a lot that science and economics can learn from religion, especially when it comes to things with proofs that the average person finds hard to understand, like the effectiveness of vaccines and why tariffs are a bad idea, so it basically becomes a matter of faith.

I heard the song "I Ain't Worried" by OneRepublic at the gym and now I'm thinking about 1999 gyros.

At least it sounds more palatable than 99 red balloons.

Waiting for the States to ban books by Terry Pratchett because the character CMOT Dibbler is offensive and disrespectful.

(But really, it's because the books encourage you to think and to be a kinder person who is more tolerant and accepting of differences.)

The best thing I had on this visit to Perth was the duck spring roll (pictured here with a carton of 6 eggs so you have an idea of the size) from the Fremantle market.

The prato feito from the Quokka Arms is a close second.

Instagram seems to be pushing mostly math and chess content to me lately.

I feel pigeonholed.
