The Slenderblogs are never mentioned at all, which is unfortunate. They didn't necessarily add anything new, but they were a perfect distillation of some of the themes explored within every piece of Slenderman media pre-Eight Pages.

I don't believe Capcom is trying to forget Mega Man Legends per se, but it certainly was a strange decision to skip the Legends Legacy Collection in favor of rereleasing the games from the alternate timeline first.
