Last week holds 17 visually confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί #WeeklyLosses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, quite a πŸ“‰ since week before (30 then, 42 now) β€”although not unusual for figures this low β€” and only a fraction of any long-time weekly average.

Compare to the same 7-day period:
2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 98
2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 53
2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 102

All the way back to 2022, and exact same day now holds 16 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this boring 'Orlan-10' with no one else but Robert 'Magyar' himself holding it. Only a unit β€” not even a company β€” Magyar Birds were rapidly gaining combat UAV fame back then.

Fast rewind to 2023, and the same day only holds 4 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Interestingly, 3 of them were KamAZ 6x6 from 3 completely unrelated locations in 3 different oblasts: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk.

#ThrowbackLoss

This day year ago (2024) holds 10 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this curious case of 'VPK-Ural' that somehow turned upside down nearly intact around Sep 30, only to be seen burnt down by Nov 20, and back on what was left of its wheels months later.

Last week holds 30 visually confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί #WeeklyLosses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, nearly the same as the week before (28 then, 30 now).

Compare to:
Last 4 weeks avg: 50
Last 3 months avg: 43.8
This year's avg: 63.4

Also, compare to the same 7-day period before:

2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 233

All the way back to 2022, and the same day now holds 51 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Most of them from near Kherson airport soon after πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί withdrew, and obviously old losses. Most interesting of those was probably this 9S18 'Kupol' radar for 'Buks' β€” the only one confirmed till today.

Fast rewind to 2023 and the same day holds 4 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this 'Bukhanka' that seems to be a genuine military asset, and we only count those but not ex-civilians. It may sound strange but we must draw a line of what lands our list, and that's where it is now.

#ThrowbackLoss

This day year ago (2024) holds 36 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ β€” more than entire last week! Among them this T-90M presumably destroyed after it flipped in a ditch near Kurakhove. Interestingly, it appears to be a turtle kind β€” the only one of the type so far.

Last week holds 28 confirmed proper military material πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, on par with the week before (30 then, 32 now). Both deep below last 3 months weekly avg 44.6 and this year's 63.7, let alone the same 7-day period over previous years:
2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 117
2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 73
2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 80
November 11, 2025 at 1:19 PM
All the way back to 2022, and the same day now holds 9 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them BMP-3 and BREM-1 that apparently tried to tow it away from near Stelmakhivka, Svatove raion but failed.

The latest footage of the two is from Oct 2024, hence both still abandoned on our list.

Fast rewind to 2023, and the same day holds 11 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this BMP-2 East of Kupiansk that did spectacular and rather uncharacteristic πŸ’₯ probably caused by unusual kind of munition on board that day.

#ThrowbackLoss

This day year ago (2024) holds 14 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ of hardly any interest.

What's maybe worth having a look is this peculiar β€” and apparently cross-cultural phenomena β€” of posing with your own destroyed equipment, often in intimidating way.

Btw we're constantly discovering and adding older losses to our list β€” as well as removing some. It's particularly evident this time: on top of 181 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses attributed to last Oct, we've added another 300 (!) older ones over last month, all courtesy of our amazing team.

What is perceived as increased AFV usage by πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί lately barely makes a dent in the grand scheme of things, though, as we look at YoY. A single week about this time in 2024 yielded nearly as much as entire month these days as we pointed out yesterday.

Despite renewed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί mech attacks, we're still near the bottom in terms of material losses: 181 is only 39% of all time and 65% of this year's monthly avg.

Notice high abandoned # in Oct, indicative precisely of increased πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί offensive efforts with armoured vehicles involved.

#MonthlyLosses

Here's a quick look back at Oct 2025. At 181 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, it's πŸ“ˆ compared to Sep (141 then, 172 now). Even so it's still #3 lowest month all time.

Mildly interesting: IFVs skyrocketed 8x since Sep amounting to ~5x MBTs (vs long-time avg 2.2x).

Last week holds 30 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, down from 48 week before (then, 52 now).

Compare to:
2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 178
2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 109
2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 151

All of the above approach (or surpass!) monthly numbers these days. Speaking of which, we'll be doing Oct overview soon. Stay tuned!

All the way back to 2022, and exact same day holds 18 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this cannibalized BMP-1 captured somewhere in Izium raion and later refurbished β€” presumably by UkrobOronProm β€” to nearly pristine state.

Fast rewind to 2023, and the same day now holds 17 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this 220mm BM-1 often referred to as TOS-1A 'Solntsepek' doing its typical 'Solntsepek' πŸ’₯ thing in the middle of Novoselivka Druha, Pokrovsk raion.

Last week holds 48 visually confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί #WeeklyLosses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, further up from 36 week before (then, 42 now), and still not far away from last 3 months weekly avg 43.9.

Compare to the same 7d period before:
2⃣0⃣2⃣4⃣: 114
2⃣0⃣2⃣3⃣: 114 (yes)
2⃣0⃣2⃣2⃣: 140

All the way back to 2022, and exact same day now holds 15 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this what looks like 'Grifon-12' UAV, initially civilian design back from 10 years ago and the only recorded loss of the type till this day.

Fast rewind to 2023, and the same day, again, holds 9 πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this T-72B3 Obr. 2022 that rolled into one of those epic scenes North of Avdiivka on Oct 19, only to be seen again with its turret missing 4 days later.

This day year ago (2024) holds 9 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί losses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦. Among them this 48Ya6-K1 'Podlet-K1' radar for S-300/400 in West Crimea with the chassis well done but the mast looking rather fine, hence entire thing classified as only damaged on our list.

Last week holds 36 confirmed πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί #WeeklyLosses in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦, up from 22 week ago (then, 43 now). While this feels like a major πŸ“ˆ compared to the recent trend, it's very much about last 3 months weekly avg 40.5, and deep below this year's 63.3.

For better perspective, compare to:
