I can't stand the swings in temperament, when we win it's "Frank is a brilliant manager perfect for the modern game" and when we lose it's "He's a mid table manager who can only think in a mid table way". It's November, he started in June. We have no idea what he is to this team yet.
It must be difficult for the players to go from Ange, who would do his best William Wallace impression before games to Frank, who says "they can take our lives, but they will not be able to take our throw ins!!" #coys
He can't help Porro giving the ball away religiously. Or Vicario continually kicking the ball to the other goal. Or Xavi running into three men and falling to the ground.
Xavi and Spence do not gel well, both have pretty heavy touches on the ball and as a result the ball is not well contained on our left. Xavi is 100% responsible for that goal, he could have turned his body and had tons of space to move into and instead he put it on Micky and then watched. #coys
Best part of the game was Danso barrelling through Newcastle, fighting tooth and nail, and getting the ball to Richy who immediately passes back to the defense as fast as he possibly could.
Carney thinks carbon capture is the way out of climate change. So he's going to give oil and gas billions to not deliver on any of their promises and make record profits.
I think some urbanists just like buildings and development. Environmental protections and community sometimes gets in the way of that (worker protections too).
Our rest defense is good and getting better. Teams are not running through our midfield any more and we are well positioned when we lose the ball. Our defense needs work, but that's packaged with our forward progression. We stall and that invites pressure. #coys
Lots of negativity surrounding Frank, which is so strange. We finished 17th last year, I didn't think we'd get a point in the champions League let alone 5/9. Most of the issues today were individual quality - 4 or 5 players played poorly. Porro needs a break. Kudus needs to be rested too. #coys
I think the rest defense looks good, guys aren't easily passing through the middle anymore. At the 59th minute I saw a build up pattern stem from the mids, which was exciting.
