tho if you just listen to lossless on tidal and you don't hear a difference on spotify, i cant imagine there's much of a diff on tidal

potentially? tidal does support higher quality than lossless iirc, you kinda need to find songs that actually benefit from being in lossless. lots of details, that kinda stuff

user here, absolutely amazing. library is slightly smaller than Spotify or apple music but for most it isn't noticeable, as far as i can tell it only lacks a bit in more niche songs/genres. sound quality makes up for it tho imho
