The deadline for the seven states that share the #ColoradoRiver to agree on its future has passed. 30 Tribes, who hold rights to about a quarter of its flow, still can’t negotiate without cooperation from the states.

As Texans vote today, water is on the ballot. The Texas Water Fund has already delivered $223M for rural #WaterInfrastructure repairs, and #Prop4 would build on that with $20B more for long-term water projects.

L.A. will almost double the amount of #Wastewater it turns into drinking water, enough to supply 500,000 people. The plan will also reduce how much water the city takes from streams that feed Mono Lake.
