I found out Radio Caroline still exists and occasionally broadcasts on MW. It's fun to tune in and listen to. Even if the signal isn't really that clear, and keeps fading away.

I really hate how the weather report demonises rain. It's a perfectly natural form of weather, and is a great alternative to the sun beating down directly on you.
Sure you can't get out as much as you'd like, but that's a small price to pay for a bit of variation.
