I feel like generally I traded in 80% of the hassle for a 20% downgrade in the CEILING of quality, because android is so customizable you can get everything you want but start generally without it, but everything is relatively streamlined and good in apple. But the stuff that isn't is FRUSTRATING

I will say as far as general ecosystem and quality goes it's much EASIER to get high quality stuff for most of the apps because they come baked in. But there is definitely some very weird "this is what apple decided to skimp on??" Decisions

Like sure it looks nice and like it responsive and it feels fun, but I think the UI and experience tricks you into thinking it's better. I've never had more problems with basic applications freezing (like messages) on a phone.

I transitioned to apple for mainly life and petty reasons (I wanted to say fuck you to google after they fucked me when I was on google fi, and it's my partners ecosystem). But I do wanna say even though the experience LOOKS and FEELS nicer, it does have more bugs and a shitier response rate
