I really love all the songs on Long Distance Voyager except for Ray Thomas's goofy songs. The wall of 12 string guitars was not a common sound in the 80s.

My affiliate refused to air the first season because the station owner heard it was going to be offensive childish humor. Instead it showed old movies hosted by some local guy who had been a C-list actor in the 50s.

Of course SNL was a hit so the station had to air it the next season.
