For the Shadow of the Colossus story, we interviewed 14 people including project leads Fumito Ueda and Kenji Kaido, hired Gravity Rush concept artist Takeshi Oga to illustrate the cover, and put together a 10,000-word story with help from @milkman.bsky.social @shmuplations.bsky.social and others.

One of the highlights every convention for me is checking out the Canadian games. At Gamescom, it was genuinely inspiring seeing so many Canadian devs showing off their wonderful work on the world stage. 🇨🇦 🎮
I wrote about a bunch that were featured at the show, including a few I got to demo myself.

There were plenty of cool Canadian games at Gamescom 2025

From two completely different detective games to a genre-blending horror/deck-builder and classic beat 'em up, Canadian developers showed up in big ways.
